Ford Escort RS2000 4x4

1996 Ford Escort RS2000 4x4. First registered at Dalblair of Ayr to a local owner. Its now had 6 previous owners. We have the V%, original handbooks and service book with 6 stamps. It has 3 keys with one of them a red key. The car comes MOTD till August 2026. Its recently been used a bit and has covered a couple of thousand miles recently. It starts runs and drives well and can be driven away.

Ford Escort Mk1 2.0

Very Tidy MK1 Escort 2 door fitted with a 2.0 Pinto. This car was shipped in from Malta around 2016 and has remained with the same owner till we got it last week. Its a very good shell and also a very well put together car. It starts runs and drives well and everything works as far as we can see. we have the V5 here which is just "Escort" but has the engine noted as a 2.0

Ford Fiesta 1.1

1982 Ford Fiesta 1.1 L we have just taken as a trade in. Its a good solid little car which starts runs and drives, but there is room for improvement. Ideal starter classic for someone. Its had 8 previous owners. We have the V5 here but nothing in the way of history.

1976 Ford Escort 1.6 GL Manual. RHD Import from South Africa which is very solid and original underneath. All tax and duty paid and UK registration has been applied for. Starts runs and drives but will need a bit tinkering to get on the road. We have the original handbook and service book for the vehicle.

Ford Cortina 3.0S - Never Welded

Here we have a superb Genuine Ford Cortina Mk4 3.0S. We brought this car in from South Africa in 2021. We sold it to the current owner. It was already a very good car, but he has vastly improved it and turned it into what you see in the pics. It starts, runs and drives very well, ticks over as it should, and everything works. It sounds the dogs danglers as well. We have the V5 here for the car. It also been upgraded top a 5 speed gearbox.

Rover 2000SC P6

Advertising for a customer this very charming old Rover 2000 SC P6 model. Its only done 39000 miles from new, comes with 2 sets of keys, current V5, old V5s, receipts for work done and MOTs stretching back to its first MOT in `1976. It starts runs and drives and is ready to be used.

Body - Very solid old car. Really good underneath. Body is fairly straight. Paint is perfectly useable and quite tidy. There are a few age related marks as you would expect. Overall a very presentable old girl.

Ford Fiesta XR2

Ford Fiesta 1.6 XR2. 1989 F reg with 108,000 miles. Car starts runs and drives and has a long MOT. We have the V5 here showing 7 previous owners. Its a decent useable car but by no means a mint show car. It does have good potential to take it to the next level.

Body - Overall a solid car. Bit of surface rust showing on inner wings, rust bleb on scuttle panel and bubble on tailgate near lock. Rear arches are good under the body kit. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. Looks like front bumper has been repainted.Few age related marks on paintwork.

Ford Escort 1600 Sport

1980 Ford Escort MK2 1600 Sport. Imported by us 9 years ago and been through two Uk owners since, who have both spent a bit money improving the car. It starts runs and drives very well and is solid. It was driven about 35 miles to us by the owner. We have the V5 here which correctly shows it as an escort 1600 Sport.

Ford Capri 2.0 GT XLR

1970 Ford Capri 2000 V4 GT XLR as seen at the NEC Classic Car Show last year. This is an outstanding example which has only covered 28000 miles from new. There are two folders full of history, including its original bill of sale and letter sent to the first owner informing them that their car was ready to collect. Its a Dagenham "OO" number plate. Price new in 1970 was £1380 41 shillings and 33 pence. The first owner kept it till 1975, when it was purchased by a lady who kept it for the next 30 years only using it at weekends we are told.
