Ford Escort RS2000

Advertising for a customer this 1980 Ford Escort RS2000. This is an Australian built car which has never had any welding underneath and is very very original structurally. Our customer bought it around 8 or 9 years ago when he lived in Australia and brought it back with him in 2023. The car shows 137000 kms which is around 85000 miles. It still has its original engine and is a matching numbers car. It starts runs and drives really well and feels nice and tight. It doesnt feel like some which have been in a million bits then put back together. We have two sets of keys and the V5 here

Ford Cortina MK3 1.6

Ford Cortina MK3 1.6 . RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Car is fully UK registered as GHH288L. Very very solid old car and very original and unmolested underneath. Starts runs and drives . Was originally white. Showing 80,000 kms which is 50,000 miles.

Body - Early Mk3 Cortina Shell. Original inner wings, floors, sills, chassis. Very solid and unmolested underneath. Never been welded Paintwork is tidy enough but no show winner and questionable colour scheme. Appears to have originally been white from new. Roof is paint and not vinyl.

MGB Roadster

1978 MGB Roadster. Lovely example which was recently feautured on the Giveaway Guys competition site, but the winner took the cash equivalent. We have it for sale on their behalf. The car has been owned by the same family sine the late 1980s and very well maintained throughout that time. Underneath is superb and it recently had £2500 plus spent on it. It starts runs and drives as it should and is good to go.

1978 Ford Escort MK2 1.3 Project Car. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration done and car is now fully Uk registered as REY491S. Has Sport decals fitted but its only a 1300 basic model. It will need work to get it on the road.

After spending a fortune with a classic car repairer and losing faith in them, he pulled the plug on the project. It needs very little work to finish. It starts runs and drives and we have the current V5 here.

Ford Escort RS1600i

Advertising on behalf of a customer this lovely 1983 Caspian Blue RS1600i in very good order. Great looking car which has just had a fair bit spent and was used regularly over the summer. It starts runs and drives and is a really tidy useable example. We have a history file detailing most of the previous owners. The first owner had it from new until 2010 and it appeared to have spent a long time in storage during his ownership. It was used on and off until 2012 then again stored until 2018 when it had a light restoration. Its now registered as Historic on the V5.

1975 Ford Escort MK2 RS1800 Lookalike fitted with Lotus Twincam engine, 5 speed box and RS Interior. Starts runs and drives and goes well. Car was original a basic model.

Body - Mk2 Escort early shell with larger hole strut tops. In the main a good shell. Good inner wings, strut tops, pillars, sills. Doors sit well in shell.
