Ford Cortina 3.0 Pickup

Ford Cortina MK3 Pickup or Bakkie as they are known in South Africa. This is a genuine Ford built pickup fitted with a 3.0 V6 Essex. Very solid old truck which starts runs and drives. Will need a little bit of tidying but great starting point. These pickups had a bigger cab than the later MK5 p100s as they use a 2 door door, whereas the mk5 used a 4 door door and had a shorter cabin area. Will need Uk registered but we will complete all the paperwork for the new owner and assist them if any problems.

Body - Very solid looking underneath.Good floors, a pillars etc. No visible signs of any patch repairs. Very original looking car. Paintwork is presentable. Odd age related mark here and there but perfectly useable as it is. If you wanted a show car then maybe its not this one but good looking car all the same for its age.

Good points - Original inner wings - strut top number clearly visible, Good floors, 
 
Will need work on bulkhead underneath heater bubble, battery tray, chassis support that goes up round tunnel, rear arches have previously been repaired. Needs sorting out.
 
No engine gearbox or diff
 
Has vin tags and strut top number still on it but dont have any paperwork and no idea if NOVA was done.
