Ford Cortina MK1 GT in need of restoration. Genuine GT with tramp bars extra dials etc. We have the old style V5. Car shows as 2 previous owners since 1980 and looks to have been tucked away for a long time. Car was originally red from the factory

 

Body - Genuine GT 4 door. Body code 78 which is correct. Good floors and inner wings, which have previously had the strut tops repaired. Will need work on outriggers, inner and outer sills, rear arches, boot wells and all exterior panels, outer floor Its not a complete basket case and the mismatch of panels make it look worse than it is. Vin plate is present

 

Mechanics -  The engine and running gear is with it. Gearbox has gone missing over the years, Has the correct rear axle with tramp bars on. 

 

Interior - What you see in the pics is what you get. Scruffy door cards, two front seats, one half of the back seat. centre console.

 

Wheels - Aftermarket alloys definitely not suited to this car.
