Selling on behalf of a customer this very original 1980 Ford Escort RS 2000 Custom. It showing 83000 miles and has had 9 previous owners. We have the V5 but not much else in the way of history. The car was in storage from from 2008 till late 2023. It was sent to Escort Specialist GS Classic Fords for a full mechanical recommission and is currently MOTD and ready to go. Original dealer plates and window sticker. Last year it had a full bare metal repaint and full interior trim. Great looking car

Body - Genuine RS shell with all the right brackets. Looks very original underneath with evidence of only a couple of very minor repairs. Original spare wheel well, sills. Good solid shell. Paintwork has recently been redone and is lovely. The car was taken back to bare metal and its really tidy and very straight. Has had a period glass sunroof fitted. Good nosecone and bumpers. Correct door mirrors.

Mechanics - Has been given a recent overhaul after being pulled out of storage. Full engine service including timing belt,. The following items were replaced - coil, front TCAs, TREs, Calipers , pads, discs, brake lines, shoes, shocks, flexis, rear U bolts, propshaft, radiator hoses, fan, handbrake cable, It starts, runs and drives very well.

Interior - Seats have recently been fully retrimmed and are lovely. Door cards have had speakers fitted. Good headlining and carpet. All dash guages work. Good steering wheel.

Wheels - 4 x 7" Genuine Ronals which have been refurbished with good Yokohama tyres. Spare is an original RS Alloy
