1983 Opel Ascona 1.8 GSI, which is very similar to our MK2 Cavalier SRI. This is a RHD import from South Africa and was a 1 owner car out there. All tax and duty has been paid and NOVA declaration done. Once thats accepted we will apply for the UK registration. This car is rock solid , youll struggle to find one as original over here.

Body - Underneath is as clean and solid as the day it left the factory. Needs nothing. Body and paint looks very original and is in very good order. Couple of minor marks on the paint and a small bit thats been touched up on the tailgate otherwise remarkably original.

Mechanics - under the engine bay is again really clean. Car starts and runs but as we dont know the history it would be best to do a bot of a service on it as a minimum. Its a bit spluttery when cold but when warm its much better. i suspect it will need a bit of tinkering to suit our much colder climate.

Interior - All original and in very good order. No rips or tears. everything appears to work .

Wheels - Factory 13" steels with SRI style trims. We will replace the two front tyres as they look past their best for sure. Spare looks the original Grand Prix S
