Ford Sierra XR8 V8. This is a genuine Ford factory built car. These were homologated for racing in South Africa and only 250 were ever made. This one is number 210 and is probably the only one for sale North of the equator at the moment. The car was on the road prior to export and starts runs and drives. Exhaust sounds awesome. There is room for a bit tidying up but its a genuine example and super rare. This will need UK registered but we will assist the new owner with all the paperwork right through until the new registration is received. Car shows 120000 kms which is around 70k miles

 

Body - Sierra XR8 with the all important build plate under the drivers side headlight which states Sierra XR8 5000. Very solid car underneath with original floors, sills, arches, boot floor. All panels are solid. No signs of any rust on the car. Really strong shell. Paintwork is ok and looks fairly original. There are a few age related marks here and there. With a good polish its perfectly useable but not a show winner.

 

Mechanics - 302ci engine. Engine is the correct type but not the original one. We have the original RY code block in the boot which comes with the car. T5 gearbox. These cars have uprated AP brakes, uprated diff and suspension. This car sounds superb and goes like stink. 

 

Interior - Original seats and door cards which are in good order. Headlining sagging a little bit in middle. Dashtop has been recovered due to sun damage and its useable but no 100 percent correct. Correct XR8 steering wheel and instruments.

 

Wheels - Orinial XR8 alloys with good tyres.

 

Very very rare car being 1 of only 250 and 1 of only a handful in the UK. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
