Ford Escort XR3 5 Speed. This car was recently imported from South Africa. All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA registration done. It will need MOTd and registered but we can help with the registration paperwork. The floors are solid but will need repairs on both lower inner quarters at the rear

Body - Early XR3 shell with two bolt type strut tops. Good solid floors. Original inner wings, arches, sills etc. Paintwork is OK but lot of overspray in the underbonnet area. Hella style grille, African spec XR3 Decals. Will need repairs on both inner rear quarters at the back.

Mechanics - Car does start and run but the wiring will need looking at as nothing on the dash works. Brakes are Ok clutch feels fine. Noisy front wheel bearing(s). No sound deadening under carpet so noisy inside.

Interior - Seats are useable but far from mint . Door cards have speaker holes and door bins missing. Headlining and carpets are fine. Has the hard type dash fitted rather than the original soft one

Wheels - Refurbished UK spec XR3 Cloverleaf Alloys with good tyres.

This is a fairly solid project which with a bit work will make a decent example. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
