1977 Ford Escort Mk2 Van with 1600 crossflow. Very tidy example just imported from South Africa. All tax and duty paid and Nova declaration done. We will complete all the Uk registration paperwork for the new owner.

 

Body - Mk2 Escort Van. Very solid little van . Very straight . Good panel gaps. Paintwork is very tidy. Has had front floors repaired in the past. Doesnt need any work underneath. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills. Doors boot and bonnet are very good. No signs of rust. Decals can be removed if required. Couple of minor marks on paint but nothing major.

 

Mechanics - Very quiet 1600 crossflow which starts no problem and runs well. 4 speed box. Good brakes and clutch. Van drives very well. When the van was redone in South Africa everything was replaced or refurbed, powdercoated or repainted. Polybushed.  Lowering blocks fitted on the rear. 

 

Interior - Aftermarket high back seats which look good, full headling from front to back, colour coded dashboard, sport clocks, sport steering wheel, good dash top, door cards and carpet. Quite tidy inside.

 

Wheels - Superlight style wheels which look fairly new with good 175 50 13 tyres
