Ford Escort Mk2 Van which has just been brought in from South Africa. All tax and import duty paid and we will complete all the Uk registration paperwork for the new owner. This is a very solid unmolested van which has just been used for what it was intended.

 

Body - Mk2 Escort Van. Very solid and original and not a patchwork quilt. Only bit we can see thats needing a small repair underneath is front floors. Good doors, arches, sills,rear doors, load area. All panels look original. Front driver side wing has had a minor "ouch" and will need pulled out a bit. Lower front panel could do with replacing as its very misshaped. Paintwork is scruffy and scuffs or scrapes on most panels. Overall though a very solid old original van which has not been got at.

 

Mechanics - 1300 engine, 4 speed box and all standard. We have heard the engine running and it sounds fine but will need a distributor. Will need a good checkover before using. we suspect the 1300 will be binned anyway by whoever buys it.

 

Interior - All standard but scruffy.

 

Wheels - Original steels with 3 hubcaps as one missing
