Ford Escort Mk2 1.6GL 4 Door. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. UK Registration has been applied for. This car is very original and in the main not been botched up or pimped up.

Body - 1978 4 door shell. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches. Floor has had one repair on NSF, which will need redoing, but otherwise all original. Paintwork is perfectly useable but there are a few minor marks here and there. Bubbling on osr lower quarter panel. Previously had a minor repair at bottom of heater bubble which needs looking at and redoing, small holes in spare wheel well and cracks and a bit rust on the underside of the front section of the drivers side chassis leg. We can do all the repair work needed at additional cost.

Mechanics - Standard 1600 crossflow with twin choke carb. Standard 4 speed box and running gear. Car starts runs and drives. Carb may need adjustment due to our climate being very different. Engine is quiet, clutch brakes and gearbox all good. Only showing 107000 kms which is 60 odd thousand miles.

Interior - Again all standard and original. Very clean and tidy for its age. Good door cards, carpet, headlining, parcel shelf, front seats. Rear seats have had a repair on the top section.

Wheels - Standard slotted steels.
