Here we have a very tidy 1979 Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Van. Its done 54000 miles and has had 6 previous owners from new. Last owner has it since 2013. It starts runs and drives but hasnt really been used much in the last 10 years. This has been a UK van from new

Body - Ford Escort MK2 Van . Very tidy looking old van in its original colour. The body in the main is very straight and tidy. Paintwork is nice. Few minor imperfections as you would expect on a car of this age. Small bit bubbling on bottom front corner of passenger door, bubbling down roof gutter on o/s windscreen pillar. Crack on paint on bottom of nsr door. The previous owner said none of these defects have got any worse in the last 12 years as he had it dry stored. Overall in good order for its age.

Underneath has had some repairs over the years but is now solid.The repairs are visble but whoevers done it has used proper panels, so it could be dressed up neater without too much work.

Mechanics - Van started life as a 1300 but was upgraded to a 1600 at some point. It starts and runs and drives. Brakes feel fine, as does the clutch and gearbox. Will need a bit of minor recommissioning.

Interior - Standard, clean and tidy, but very basic as they were, apart from the addition of a Mountney steering wheel.

Wheels- Standard steels which have been refurbished with good tyres and new nuts
