1988 Ford Escort 1600 Bantam Pickup. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done. Will need MOTd before registering nut we will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Very hard to find one in this condition as they were usually worked hard.

Body - Genuine Ford built Escort Bantam pickup. This one is completely solid underneath. No signs of any patches or welding. Good inner wings, crossmember, battery tray, sils, arches, chassis. Paintwork is perfectly useable. There are a few minor marks but generally looks good. Smaall bubble on top of osf wing. Couple of minor dents on door. Small bit of bubbling on door bottom. If you wanted it mint youd need to paint it.

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carburettor engine. Starts runs and drives ok. Good brakes, clutch, 5 Speed gearbox. No idea on the history of it so would be sensible for the new owner to give it a checkover, service and timing belt.

Interior - Original bench seat which has a cover on it. Underneath it will need a clean but its not all ripped. Fairly tidy inside and not like a builders truck

Wheels - Original steels with perfectly useable tyres all round.

These little trucks are quite rare as they were only built for the South African market. Its very difficult to find one like this. Please feel free to come and see the truck. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
