Body - Export spec 2 door mk2 shell with a lot of similar strengthening to our RS shells. Good solid original inner wings, strut tops, sills, door posts, rear floors, doors, boot , bonnet. Will need work on front floors, tunnel as its been modified roughly to take the bigger gearbox, spare wheel and tank wells have been repaired previously and need done to a better standard. Heater bubble lip has also been trimmed to accomodate v6 engine. This car was black when it left the factory but has been painted at some point metallic black. The paint is shiny and its good job at one time but its now seen better days. There is some paint flaking on the swage line on the osr quarter and blisters on the roof. These are not rust or filler but either poor prep or heat have caused it. Bit of filler evident in lower rear quarters. 1600 sport stripes. 

 

Mechanics - 3.0 V6 Essex fitted with 5 speed gearbox. Car starts runs and drives, brakes and clutch are good. Diff has been welded. Engine is a bit tappety like a lot of the 3.0s but not smokey.

 

Interior - Mostly aftermarket and poorly trimmed. Really wants all replaced.

 

Wheels - Set of capri laser wheels we had lying around with 175 70 13 tyres. Wheelnuts are a bit of a mismatch and could do with a new set.
