Ford Escort 1.6 Ghia. Currently on an Irish Registration but all paperwork done to put it back to its original UK registration GAT382T. Has been sitting in dry storage for a few years. Starts and runs but will require a bit work to get it back on the road.

 

Body - Uk 4 Door Mk2 Escort. Good strut tops, inner wings, rear arches. Has had work on the floor in the past which are period MOT repairs than than restoration quality. Looks fairly solid but has had a heavy hit of underseal at one point. Only bit we can see needs immediate attention is on rear chassis rail near spring hanger. Its only a small repair . Paintwork is ok . Perfectly useable but no show winner. Lot of bubbling under vinyl roof which would require further investigation.

 

Mechanics - All looks like standard ghia. Starts runs and drives but not been used for a number of years so will need a good checkover and service as a minimum.Interior - Standard black ghia interior in good order. Good dash top seats, door cards, wood dash.

 

Wheels - 7" Rs replica wheels with good 50 series tyres. Lacquer is starting to discolour on the wheels and would need refurbed to make mint.
