Ford Escort MK2 1.6 - RHD Import From South AFrica with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done and we will be applying for the UK reg this week.Its just a standard car with all the Sport stuff added and not a genuine 1600 Sport. bIt starts runs and drives and is fairly presentable but will need a bit work.

Body - Standard Mk2 Escort Shell. Early type with the larger strut top holes. Good Inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, pillars. Will need a bit work on front floors, boot wells. They have previously been repaired and could do with being done better. Small man made hole in scuttle oanel , looks like it had an external master switch fitted at some point. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. Not a concours show winner but good and useable. Sport spoiler and quarter bumpers fitted and sport decals. Bonnet pins have been fitted as well.

Mechanics - 1600 crossflow which sounds decent. Its been fitted with twin 40s but not sure on the spec internally, but it fgeels strong. Will need the carbs set up for our climate. Rest of the car will need checked over before being sent sideways round your local roundabout. Small alloy tank fitted in the boot. Looks a bit small for road use if Im honest. Looks like sport running gear as well. 5 speed type 9 box fitted

Interior - Sport seats, Fronts are ok , have one small burn mark. Back seat top half is ok but bottom has 2 holes. Homemade door cards, Good headlining, Dash has had white aftermarket clocks fitted. Parcel shelf has been recovered which looks a bit naff, but all these parts are not readily available over there.

Wheels - 7x 13 JBW Rs replicas with good 185/60/13 tyres

Not a bad starting point and could be on the road fairly easily. Will need work going forward but a lot cheaper than some. Please feel free to come and see the car. we have armp so you can look underneath. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
