Ford Cortina Mk3 2.5 V6 Automatic Pickup or Bakkie as they are known in South Africa. This is a genuine Ford factory built pickup which were not available here. Its extremely solid, very honest and looks to have survived well. This truck is unrestored. . All tax and duty has been paid and the NOVA declaration done. We have applied for the UK registration. This pickup is rock solid front to back and in very good condition condition for its age.

Body - Genuine factory built pickup. Similar to our P100 pickups but we only got these from a MK5. Super solid from front to back and never been welded. Panel gaps are all good. Paint is ok as it was a working truck so it has picked up a few minor war wounds. Lower front panel. Rear offside corner but overall fairly minor.

Mechanics - 2.5 V6 Essex , factory automatic box and standard running gear. Engine is very good and nice and quiet . It drove fine on test drive today, Small flat spot when pulling away but otherwise revs clean. Carb may need slight adjustment due to the different climate.

Interior - Original bench seat, which is a bit worn and could do with a retrim. Dashtop has a crack, door cards are Ok, headlining is OK.

Wheels - Standard steels with original chrome hubcaps and trim rings.
