Ford Cortina MK1 2 Door - 1500 in Lotus Colours. This car was an import many years ago but has been in the Uk for a long time. Its looks solid enough underneath but has had a few period looking repairs. It starts runs and drives but again will need serviced etc as a minimum.

 

Body - Mk1 Cortina 2 Door shell. Pretty solid underneath but has had  a few patch repairs over the years. Perfectly useable as it is or can be done to a better standard. Paint finish is not the worst but looks like its been prepped poorly as doesnt look the straighest along the sides. Has had arches at some point in its life.  Bumpers are missing

 

Mechanics - 1500 GT engine im told. Does start and run. Sounds well but will need a full service as a mnimum as not really been used for a number of years. Standard 4 speed box.  Brakes will need a bleed and car will need a good checkover from front to back.

 

Interior - Lotus style dash which needs wired up properly,  lotus constructors plaque, lotus gearknob, umbrella  handbrake. Back seat is ok. Front seats need retrimmed. Rear quarter cards are missing 

 

Wheels - Genuine Lotus steels but no hubcaps.

 

This is no show winner but if it was it would be double the price and then some. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
