Ford Cortina 2.0 Crusader. 96000 miles. Very original looking car with rebuilt 2.0 pinto with big valve head, 4 branch, new dgas carb. Mot till March 2020. Ready to drive away



Body - Cortina Mk5 shell which was ziebarted from new and seems to have preserved it very well. Underneath looks rock solid, as do the inner wings, sills, boot floor. Very good solid shell. Paintwork is very nice with only a few very minor blemishes. Slight surface rust on very botton rear wheel arch lip but very minor. Overall a good looking, solid as a rock old car



Mechanics - 2.0 Pinto rebored to 2.1, larger valves fitted in head, bronze guides, ported and polished ports, high lift cam and new followers, new 38 DGAS Carb, crank balanced . All new bolts, gaskets, water pump, oil pump etc. Bill for engine rebuild, removal and refitting alone was £2600 Also had a new clutch at that point. This work was all carried out in 2017. Also fitted with a Stainless Steel Exhaust , 4 branch manifold. Converted to manual choke. Still has 4 speed standard gearbox and running gear



Interior - All standard and very tidy except for the addition of a CD changer in the boot. Sigma immobiliser fitted



Wheels - Standard steels with good tyres, chrome rings and locking wheel nuts.
