Advertising on behalf of a customer. 1981 Ford Cortina MK5 1.3L 2 Door. Customer drove this approx 80 miles to get to us with no dramas. We have the V5 here.

Body - Rare 2 door Mk5 Cortina shell. Floors are solid, could do with a wire brush in places and a bit protection but good and original. Has had repairs on both lower quarters in the past and in boot corners. Customer paid someone to paint this and its average at best. The bottom lip on front panel hasnt even been prepped and just painted over. Dont get me wrong it looks ok from 20 feet but if your looking for a show car then its not this.

Mechanics - Car starts runs and drives, customer drove it to us, as mentioned. Looks to have had a new spring on one side on the front and not the other so its sitting a little uneven. He has spent a bit money on the mechanical side making it roadworthy.

Interior - Front seat covers fitted. Seats are ok underneath. Good dash top headlining and door cards.

Wheels - Deep dish steels with chrome trim rings and good tyres.

Rare old car which drives well but their is room for improvement cosmetically. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
