1986 Opel Manta GTE Exclusive. This car was owned by a local gentleman who had it for around 20 years. Sadly he is no longer with us so the car is a bit of an unfinished project. The V5 was changed into his wifes name and it currently shows 4 previous owners. The car is showing 67000 Miles and we have lots of old MOTs which verify it. It was last on the road properly in 2004 ish we believe. 

 

Body - Manta GTE Exclusive. Good solid shell. Looks to have had repairs on inner arches and sills. Floors look good. We have attached photos with the carpet out, but you need to scroll right down the listing to the bottom to see the extra photos.The headlights are in place but will need a couple replaced and wired back up. The car has a few minor dings and scratches from storage. If you wanted a good usable car it would need bits painted. If you wanted it mint youd need to paint the whole car. Only tiny bit in spare wheel well will need a repair

 

Mechanics - Car starts runs and drives. The engine sounds good, gearbox and clutch are fine. The handbrake is good but brakes will need attention. It looks like the owner was in the middle of fitting a brake pipe kit but never got it finished. There are new pipes with the car. All the suspension has either been cleaned and painted or replaced. The car is very presentable underneath. It sits a bit high. we are not sure if its just new springs and needs used or its the wrong springs.

 

Interior - All original and very tidy. No nasty rips or tears. Correct Irmscher steering wheel. Brackets that hold passenger seat in place are currently missing but we are going back to collect some spares and we suspect we may have missed them when we collected the car.

 

Wheels - Refurbed original alloys. Not sure how old the tyres are so may need replacing.
