Body - Genuine XR4i. Never been welded underneath and floors are solid from front to back including the jacking points and rear chassis. Will need a small repair where boot floor meets rear panel in the boot area otherwise a good strong original car. Little bit of rust on corner of osr quarter ( See Pic) and some bubbling on nsf wing behind bodykit. Paintwork is pretty tidy for its age and the car is really straight down the sides. It has the cosworth front grille and bonnet fitted and these are genuine items. Paint has faed a bit on rear spoiler.

 

Mechanics - All standard xr4i with the turbo technics conversion. Car has an immobiliser fitted which needs removing as its not disarming. We did manage to get the car to fire up briefly today by wiring up the starter to a direct feed and squirting some fuel in the intake. Fuel pump will need replaced as doesnt appear to be working. Engine sounds ok. Exhaust is broken just behind the turbo and will need repaired.

 

Interior - Good original clean and tidy interior. Dash is cracked in usual places but otherwise very original and just needing a bit of a clean.

 

Wheels - Sierra Cosworth wheels with all centre caps and locking key present. Will need refurbed but rims are good and not damaged.

 

This is quite a rare car being the turbo technics model and is low miles and 2 owners. It will make a really nice example if sometime shows it a bit of time and effort.
