Here we have a genuine stunning Marine Blue MK1 RS2000. According to the AVO Owners club, this car is 1 of only 4 built in Marine Blue. It is believed that only 2 exist and the other is a bubble arched car, which effectively makes this one unique. Nobody will park beside you at a car show with something identical - thats for sure. This car was sold in Scotland around 12 years ago and was sold by a dealer in Perthshire to a car collector in the South. He had the car fully restored by a company called CWC restorations, and what a fantastic job they did. The underneath is as clean as on top with no stonechip or underseal being used. Its had very little use since then and latterly has sat in a private collection for the last 3 years.The pictures dont do the car justice and you really need to come and view it, especially the underside which is amazing.

With the car we have the current V5, showing 5 previous owners, Invoice from the dealer in Perth in 2013, an owners handbook, photos of restoration, bills for over £30k between parts and restoration work.

Body - Was completely restored from front to back between 2018 and 2020. Body is solid, underneath is all body colour with no underseal or stone guard just paint and the finish is as good as it is up top. Panel gaps are good, all the bumpers, indicators rear lights look to have been either been replaced or refurbished. Paintwork up top is also very nice but if we are being overly picky there are a couple of minor imperfections. Nothing major but just trying to be honest. It looks like an original window rubber was used which has cracked a little in the corners. Overall a stunning looking car. Id sit this alongside any including some that have fetched way more money at auction. The car originally had a vinyl roof which was not replaced when the restoration was done. It also retains both its original vin plate and build plate.

Mechanics - Everything has either been refurbished or replaced. Underneath is way better than when it was new and the detail is incredible. The car starts and runs well and everything appears to work as it should

Interior - Again in fantastic order. This car was apparently supplied from new with no headrests according to the history file. Seats are all nice and firm and everything looks pretty much like it just left the factory

Wheels - Standard deep dish steels with darker centre and silver rim. Chrome RS centre caps.
