Ford Escort RS2000 Road / Rally Car. This car has been used for a bit of historic stage rallying and road rallying in the past. Lately its only seen road use. It could be very easily converted back to a standard car as everything is bolt on. We have the V5 which states RS2000 on it.

Body - Genuine RS2000 with all the right brackets in the right places. Good solid shell which needs nothing doing. Has had repairs to one front floor and one boot well in the past other all looks original. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. Its not a show car but is useable as it it for sure. Panel gaps are good. Rally style mudflaps fitted. Bronze Tint Glass. Rally mud flaps been removed so small holes in quarters and wings where theese were fixed on.

Mechanics - 2.0 Pinto with High Compression Pistons, worked head, Rally Cam, Twin 45s, SD Bolt in Roll Cage, Alloy Rally Fuel Tank, Bilstein Suspension, Roller Top Mounts, Tarmac Springs, Strut Brace, Adjustable TCAS, Anti Dive Kit, GRP 4 Steering Joint, Disc Brake Rear Axle, 4.1 Diff, Tran X Plate LSD which was rebuilt not so many miles ago, Type 9 5 Speed Gearbox with Quick Release Alloy Bellhousing, Quick Shift Gear Stick, One Piece Prop. AP Racing clutch, Electronic Distributor, Vented Front Discs, Bias pedal Box, Cossy Rear Calipers, Hydraulic Fly off Handbrake. The car starts runs and drives. Carbs might need a bit setting as it runs OK when using it hard but if its ticking over for a while it needs a rev to clear its throat and can sometimes foul the plugs if ticking over too long. Recently the front calipers have been refurbished, brakes all serviced and bled, new quick rack fitted. Coolant has been flushed, new thermostat, racetech temp guage fitted and electric fan fixed and tested.

Wheels - Comes with Superlite Alloys fitted with new Falken tyres
