Ford Escort MK2 Van fitted with 2.0 Pinto and 5 speed box. This van has been restored to a very good standard and is as nice an example as you will find. V5 is in the post and will hopefully be with us shortly. If not we can give a full invoice for the van and forward it as soon as it arrives. No real history or other paperwork comes with it.

 

Body - Ford Escort Mk2 Van. - Extremely solid shell with original wings and looks like all original panels. The body is very straight with good gaps and the paintwork is lovely. Underneath is very solid with no signs of any patching or nasty welds. During the restoration the van was fully stripped and blasted with only light repairs needed. RS type strengthening plates were added.  It was painted in Ford Venetian Red.  You can see all the definition on the floors and its had a light coating of stone chip or similar to protect it. . It has quarter bumpers fitted, good grille, new headlights. 

 

Mechanics - Good quiet 2.0 Pinto, 5 speed Type 9 box, alloy bell housing. Brand new carb. Everything has been refurbed, replaced or repainted. It starts runs and drives well. Its been sitting unused for about a year but is ready to go. We are happy to put a years MOT on it if the new owner wants one.

 

Interior - Sport dash, GL dash pad, good dashtop, Good door cards. Seats are good and look like escort / cortina GT or similar.

 

Wheels - New 6 " Revolution alloys with new 185 60 13 Toyo Proxies.
