1976 Ford Escort Mk2 2.0 fitted with some RS bits. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid and UK reg has been applied for. Its a pretty solid shell but has been clobbered together by a blind man with two spanners, set of vice grips and a hammer. It needs pulled apart redone to a better standard but you could make a car of it for sure.

Body - Early Mk2 Escort shell. has had small repairs on front floors, which are visible but not horrible. Rear floors are good as are boot wells. Rear arches are good. Doors need lined up a bit better. Drivers door has a crack on top corner inside next to quarter window. Only evidence of filler I can find is in passenger side door at back section of it. Paintwork is pretty average at best. Dont get me wrong its useable but definitely no show pony. Bonnet is fibreglass with bonnet pins fitted. RS rear bumper. nosecone,

Mechanics - This car starts runs and drives just.Apart from the gearstick coming out in your hand, the crap steering wheel, the vibrations, the exhaust being squashed to fit,the wiring, its great. Its a 2.0 Pinto, non alloy sump or bellhousing, 4 speed cortina box with detachable stick as mentioned.Its not so much quickshift but more a sh*tshift gearstick. Brakes actually work quite well but ive not been brave enough to get a good bit speed up. Fan belt squeals like a pig in an abattoir. Will need going through from front to back but does actually move under its own steam. Gearbox mount is also a bit creative looking but original mounting points are still there.

Interior - look like proper Rs roll top seats from an African car but they have been re-trimmed by an apprentice coach trimmer whilst wearing boxing gloves, nursing a hangover. Same with dash top. The stitching is about as straight as the M25. Door cards are of a similar standard and are fit for the junk pile.

Wheels - Capri Laser Wheels powder coated with decent 175/70/13 tyres
