Ford Escort MK1 2 Door 1300. Very Solid little car which could be used as it is or improved upon. This car was imported by someone in 2017 and has had 2 uk owners since. We have the current V5 here.

Body - Later type Mk1 Escort shell. Floors are totally original, never been welded and not plastered with underseal so you can see how good they are. Original, inner wings, sills, arches pillars. Has had a repair on heater bubble previously which would want investigating and redone if you want to build something really nice. Paintwork is useable and its a nice colour in the sunlight. There are a few minor bubbles here and there and small scrapes and dings. Overall a cracking shell to do something with.

Mechanics - Standard 1300 crossflow which fires up no problem. Manual choke conversion.4 speed box. Uprated front springs, lowered all round. Starts runs and drives but may need an element of recommissioning as its been stored for the last few years.

Interior - 6 dial dash which needs wiring up properly. Some of it works some doesnt. Good dashtop. Seats have been recovered at some point. They are perfectly useable but nothing fancy

Wheels - Polished Capri Laser Alloys with good tyres all round.

This is a great shell which would be a great project / donor / rolling resto. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
