1989 Ford Escort 1600 Bantam Pickup. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Very Solid underneath. Starts runs and drives but will need tidied. Will need MOTd before it can be registered.

Body - Genuine Ford built Escort Bantam pickup. This one is very solid underneath. Its never been welded . Floors are mint, good battery tray, sills, arches, crossmember. Paintwork is showing its age a little as it was a working vehicle. Rear load bed has a couple of minor holes, but very minor. Original mat in load bed as well

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carburettor engine. Starts runs and drives Good brakes, clutch, 5 Speed gearbox. Will need a good checkover before using properly. Play in steering needs investigated, carb will need adjusted due to the different climate, blow from exhaust at rear.

Interior - Original bench seat in good order. Would benefit from a scrub up but no nasty rips or tears. Door cards are Ok. Will all come up with a bit of a scrub up.

Wheels - Original steels with good tyres.

These little trucks are very rare as they were only built for the South African market. Its very difficult to find them in decent order. Please feel free to come and see the truck. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
