1993 Ford Escort 1600 Bantam Pickup. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done. We will complete all the UK registration paperwork for the new owner. Starts runs and drives but will need restored.

 

Body - Genuine Ford built Escort Bantam pickup. This one will need restored. Good inner wings, . Will need work on front floors, rear chassis rails at back of cab, load area floor. Bonnet will need replaced. paintwork will obviously need redone as part of the restoration. 

 

Mechanics - 1600 CVH carburettor engine. Starts runs and drives  Good brakes, clutch, 5 Speed gearbox. This was being used in South Africa prior to export but will need a good checkover mechanically as the MOT process is not as strict as ours

 

Interior - Original bench seat in reasonable order. Split on seam but would repair. Would benefit from a scrub up. Dash is good, as are the door cards and headlining. 

 

Wheels - Original steels with average tyres

 

These little trucks are very rare as they were only built for the South African market. Its very difficult to find any half decent ones. Please feel free to come and see the truck. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required please ask for a quote.
