1981 Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. Fairly solid original car which starts runs and drives . All tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. Car will need UK registered but we will do all the paperwork for the new owner and assist with the registration process. 

 

Body - Escort Mk2 Export spec shell with similar strengthening on the front to our RS Models. Original inner wings, strut tops, arches sills,pillars and floors. Both boot wells have been previously repaired otherwise the car does not appear to have had any other welding. The paintwork is tidy with only a few minor marks.  Panel gaps are good. Previously been an aerial on passenger wing which has a gromet on it. Fibreglass boot spoiler. Rear wheel wells could be done with being redone to a bit tidier standard.

 

Mechanics - All standard sport. Good quiet engine, 4 speed box. Brakes and clutch are good. Carb may need a bit adjusting due to the different climate.

 

Interior - Original interior.. Recovered dash top, Good headlining and doorcards but fronts have speakers cut in. Good carpet. Seats are all very clean. 

 

Wheels - Original deep dish sport steels with 175 70 13 tyres. Could do with a refurb
