1980 Ford Escort MK2 1600 Sport. Imported by us 9 years ago and been through two Uk owners since, who have both spent a bit money improving the car. It starts runs and drives very well and is solid. It was driven about 35 miles to us by the owner. We have the V5 here which correctly shows it as an escort 1600 Sport.

Body - Good looking car, which is Bermuda Blue, similar to our Riviera Blue. Good straivght car. original inner wings, strut tops, sills rear arches. Its had a repair on the nsf front floor pan otherwise it looks pretty original underneath. Paintwork is nice and tidy. its not a concours car by any means but very presentable. Rs rear spoiler, quarter bumpers, spotlights fitted.

Mechanics - Engine was rebuilt in the last few years and sounds really good. Manual choke carb fitted. Car starts and runs well. Good brakes, clutch and gearbox. Exhaust also looks to have been replaced fairly recently.

Interior - Seats were recovered with the correct material sourced from overseas. Door cards are aftermarket and dash top has been recovered. Good carpet and headlining.

Wheels - Polished Rs Alloys which are decent with good tyres all round
