Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport.. This one is a very solid car which appears to have had a lot of money spent on it fairly recently. We have the V5 here

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, floors, Has been painted body colour underneath on the centre floors. No signs of any nasty patches on floors. Looks a very good shell. Paintwork is really nice. Panel gaps are good and the car is really straight along the sides. Really good looking old car. All new bronze tint glass and window rubbers. New grille.

Mechanics - Good 1600 crossflow with twin choke weber, Uprated cam, 5 speed type 9 box, Starts runs and drives and comes with a current MOT. Poly bushing on front. Could maybe do with a session on the rolling road to check and adjust the timing, adjust the carb.

Interior - Seats look very original and are in really good condition. Good door cards, carpet and headlining. Dash top is good. Rev Counter not working

Wheels - JBW 4 spokes which are about a year old with good tyres all round
