1981 Ford Cortina 2.0 GL Auto. This is a RHD Import from South Africa which is fairly solid and original. All import duties have been paid, the NOVA declaration has been done and the UK reg has been applied for. We expect to receive this in about 4 weeks time. If it arrives we will fit the plates and update the advert.

Body - Mk5 Cortina which is fairly solid and original. It has original floors, sills, arches, boot floor, inner wings Will need a repair on osr inner quarter. It has a bleb on the scuttle panel and rust on the bonnet front edge. Will also need a repair on side where the subframe bolts through at the front. We can do the welding if required.

Mechanics - 2.0 Pinto and Automatic Gearbox. Good brakes. Car starts runs and drives and feels quite tight. Carb may need adjusted due to the different climate. As with any old car will need a good checkover before using in anger. Was fairly well maintained in South Arica and comes with a folder full of receipts and a list of all work done since 2018

Interior - All totally original and very clean and tidy. No nasty rips or tears. Good dash top, door cards, headlining and carpet.

Wheels - UK spec steels with good tyres.

Decent old car which is still on its first time round the block. With a bit work would make a really nice example. You are more than welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
